Exclamation How many devices can be spliced into one ECU signal?

For instance: Will having four separate devices - emanage blue, Zeitronix WBO2, DynoTune Digital RPM/TPS switch, & Apexi RSM (rev/speed meter) be hooked into ONE rpm signal (the one coming from the adapter box for the EM blue) and still retain an accurate signal, i.e. not have so much voltage drop that the signals become too weak to be accurate? I'm also concerened about the TPS signal (three devices, not including ECU).

What can I do to ensure that all of the devices, but most importantly the stock ECU, get the proper voltage they need to function properly? Should I look into some sort of voltage splitter/relay/amplifier type of gizmo? I don't want to hook up anything else until I know that this can all be done "safely".

Well, I just spoke with a guy here at work who used to be an EE. He said that the types of devices I'm wanting to hook up should be very high impedance, similar to a multimeter's input. Therefore, the current draw and voltage drop should be virtually nothing and I shouldn't have a problem hooking up three or four devices on one signal.

I believe him, but is there anybody here that can back that up?

He's right on. See if the devices list their input channel resistor values, then you can do some simple circuit math to figure a voltage drop to get close (you'll have to assume some reasonable resistor value for the ECU's input channel).

OR, get a voltage source and test it out...

I'm not a EE, but an ME who works for an engine controls company...

So what method would be used to add an additional throttle body to get more air to a roots blower setup?

How does this question relate to hooking up engine management, wbo2, rsm, and n20 controller to an ecu signal?

To answer your question, you'd probably have to switch to a cable throttle body.

Sorry to semi-hijack your thread. But, The TB is drive by wire and an ME well
versed in the field replied to your thread.
