Default UTEC Front End

I know there are several different GUIs made to replace the 80s Hyperterminal interface that TurboXS provides with their $1000 engine management system.

I'm getting ready to install a carputer strictly for logging and displaying parameters on my OEM navi screen.

What is everyone using? Right now, I'm using MPS Utec logger - http://mpsav.com/MPSUTECLogger/MPS_U...r_Download.htm

The logging is great, it's very simple to use, but very, very basic. It hasn't been updated in a LONG time, and it doesn't officially support the Z Utec (although it does work). Some of the logging parameters are mislabeled (MAP - Map Load Point, Duty cycle = Injector mS, Maf Hz = Maf V) but it does its job. It also allows logging with either the AEM or Innovate wideband, a huge plus.

Give me some feedback on some other programs out there.

I am just starting out KP, but I went ahead and purchased UTI.

The thread about it is here towards the bottom.

UTI looks kicka$$, might have to try that soon.

I use the mps logger prog, but also try autologger sti, its on wrxhackers forums, has pretty much the same options, but it has a graphing function and has analog looking gauges for the dashboard too. I haven't gotten the dyno function to work yet, but otherwise I like it alot.....

it only only autotunes fuel. UTI does have a "carputer" mode, though.

The autlogging feature is great with the UTI, and the interface is easier to see while driving.

it does, and it'll give you a new map too. You need to start with something though. You can't just go for a drive, and hope it will make you a map. It is really used for tweaking and making adjustements.
