Thumbs up Technosquare L-Spec reflash drive

1. Service was fast (they shipped it back overnight.)
2. Install was easy-say 10 min each way.
3. No need to "reset" ecu.
4. "Feels faster."

Very impressed with the results. You can feel it pulling harder through the RPM range (I got off it around 7-7100, didn't hit soft rev limit yet.)

Even though it was just the L-Spec tune with just drive by wire remapping and raised revlimit, I'd say it's totally worth the cost. I couldn't be happier. Well actually let me hit the track in a few weeks and I'll find out if I can break 13.5.

Now I'm wondering how the full reflash feels! I honestly didn't expect to feel the difference, but they do wonders with the drive by wire remapping whatever they do to it.

cost: $345
$hp/dollar: unknown
-1/4 mile tenths: (guessing .2 to .3)

FI: maybe not with this z. I do like to go to the strip whenever I can so I can totally justify the cost. L-spec is 100% worth the cost in just responsiveness alone. Even if they just make raise throttle input say 10% more it's totally worth it. Made it from SF to SJ in 34 about minutes.... probably has nothing to do with the technosquare tune but it was damn fun!

I loved my Techno flash NA. Went from running 13.4 @ 104mph with all the bolt-ons and no tune to 13.1 @ 107mph. Car really came together after the flash.

Pretty obvious he got the full.

Usually with mods, the Z's ecu doesn't compensate enough fuel or timing, therefore a reflash or some other piggyback is needed. Alberto's car was hella fast for n/a, trapping 107mph isn't easy in N/A form..

F spec:
Air/Fuel Map changes
Timing Map changess
Throttle body control
Rev limit bump
Speed limit Removal
Feedback removal

Lspec:
Rev Limit removal
Speed LImit removal
Throttle body control
Feedback removal

Custom available:
in addition to Fspec:
Injector Scaling
MAF sensor housing scaling
larger TB recal
other stuff...

as for Rev Limiter setting, you can have it custom set to whatever you wish, but for non rev ups it's 7100 typically, for rev ups its 7600, if you have a built engine and you would like to get it higher due to cams, then you can just have to sign a waiver.

The OP said $345 for his L-Spec so I'd think the F-Spec costs more than that. But you should probably just call them directly for that.

This has always confused me. From what I know, in the non revup, the redline reads 6600 and the rev limiter is set to 6800.

But in the revup, the redline reads 7100 and the rev limiter is set to ????

Reason I ask is because I have taken my revup to 7500 rpms at the track, and never bounced off the rev limiter.

So if reflash sets it to 7600, then where the hell is the stock set to?

Hehe... im so confused

I'm glad to hear you guys are happy w/ reflashing. I'm about to get mine done, but I was going to go with AAM. I'm hoping my car also just "Comes Together" like Alberto said.

I feel like my car is definitely not living up to its potential, I think this is what I need.
