For those of you with UTEC
After installation, did you have any check engine lights or any other lights? I'm debating weather or not to take the plunge but my car only has 12.5k miles and I really don't want any problems with inspection, etc. Is there anything else I need besides the UTEC and map switch? My car is slowly being modded, by the end of summer I should have MREV 2, Exhaust, and HFC's...maybe headers. Chose not to get a CAI, but rather installed the k&N drop in filter.

It's the P1444 code, but as Abishop said, it only has manifested in high altitude Z/G's (about 4000 feet or so) No other codes from the UTEC, and no codes at all for those UTEC's at/near sea level.
I do wish I could find a fix for it, though, since I hate having the SES light glaring at me all the time!

What BabyZilla said. If you are not going FI and live in Houston....your best strategy might be to just get an UpRev Osiris reflash and custom tune (and save the cost of buying the UTEC). The UpRev will get you five custom maps and work seamlessly with NA mods.
Not to be a 'nut-hugger' but.........Mark @ SGP in Houston did a stellar tune on our UpRev/UTEC combination and should be able to get you good results without the added expense of the UTEC.
And, supposedly, the user-tuneable version of Osiris will be available this month and is going to be a 'free upgrade'.
