Post Ignition Amplifier need?

I have a 03 Track with Greddy TT with built engine -everything runs great . I see a lot of cars with ignition amplifiers and would appreciate some opinions on if they are worth a $600 investment . I have read the manufactures' (HKS) claims but would appreciate some 1st hand knowledge on increased performance . Also , do you have to do any major rewiring ?

Kenne Bell Boost A Spark worked just fine on my built turbo VQ35 Maxima that trapped 130mph on just boost. I had spark blow out and this cured it. Its not plug and play like the HKS piece, but is very simple to install. List for $219 from Kenne Bell and can be found on e-bay for much less.
