For anyone who has installed the Nexus Oil Temp gauge. I just installed mine last night along with the boost/vacuum gauge. The oil temp sensor is the normal one you would expect to see but the harness to hook up to it doesnt make any sense. its a two wire plug. other ones that ive installed were just a two wire hook up, one going to the sensor and then one to a ground so i figured thats how this one would go so i made the nessasary modifications to do so. the gauge is telling me that im hitting 300 degrees f after about 15 minutes of normal driving. my water temp and oil pressure are all normal. did i hook this up all wrong? as for mods i have the vortec sc and all supporting mods as well as an oil pan spacer. any info would help, thanks in advance
