Default Anyone with similar NA mods tune with UTEC?

Hey everybody,
I just wondered if anybody on here had tuned their car with a UTEC and had similar mods to my car (seen below). If so, is it possible to e-mail (or somehow share) a map? I was just wondering because I would like to get a map from someone with similar mods to have sort of as a starting point for tuning mine. I appreciate any help! Thanks,
Fletch

Do you have a revup or non-revup? I ask cause I don't see MREV2 in your sig... I also assume you have stock exhaust manifolds?

You may be getting a response via PM, and if so then great. But if not let me advise you that folks here do not really share maps. It's not because they are being secretive, although some may feel they "paid" for their maps through the costs of tuning and don't want to give the work away.

But mostly folks do not want to risk causing you heartache via a mismatched map or unexpected results.

You will find a much greater and interactive response if you post your logs and then folks very often step up to the challenge to help you diagnose the logs and make tuning suggestions. We kind of consider it a game around here to look at logs and see who can come up with the best tuning suggestions.

Cheers

Thanks, I appreciate your feedback. I'm not all that familiar with tuning but I have several friends that are so I figured since they weren't very familiar with the Z that I would try to get a similarly tuned Z's map to use as a base point and then let them help me tune it from there. I understand what you are sayin though and can appreciate that. Thanks again,
Fletch

To get a 'starting point', you need a datalog first. After adding mods, some Z's run lean, and some run rich. There's really no standard 'starting point' -- you have to look at your AFR.

If you post logs, I'll give my my feedback on what I would tweak. I'm sure others will give their 2 cents too.

PM me your email address and I'll email you my excel tracking sheet from when I was tuning with UTEC. It shows AFR graphs vs UTEC settings, so it will give you an idea what to expect.

I'd like to see your datalogs too if you don't mind.

IMO there's absolutely no reason to use someone else's map as a starting point for an N/A tune. the car will run fine with or without the EMS so you don't need a starting point other than the ability to set parameters to zero adjustment to stock.

Also you can always just start richer than stock and less timing than stock if you are "paranoid" about dyno runs or something.

But stock will work fine as a starting point.
