Exclamation Cobb Tuning AccessPORT beta testing

We are looking for people to be involved in our AccessPORT beta testing. We are only looking for '03-'06 NA 350Z's. Manual/auto, Roadster/coupe, we need them all. These are not going to be custom tunes, it is just for our off-the-shelf map testing.

Local people would be preferred and if you could leave your car with us for a couple days for testing, we could negotiate pricing. We don't need the cars until the new year. PM me or email me at dave@cobbtuning.com with all your car and location details.

Update! We are also looking for G35's as well.

People, I would jump on this! I have been working with Cobb for a bit and they are great! They are the only people I trust with my car! In fact, they have it right now! Top notch products and I would recommend them to absolutely anyone for anything!

I'm a little confused here. What is it that these guys do different that has you trusting ONLY them with your car? Do you think there may be one or two other shops in the country that could do a decent job with 350Zs? We trust those that have earned our trust, so what has Cobb done for this community? Please explain. BTW, not all of us live within driving distance of Cobb.

WHat's the deal here? Tuning the STOCK ECU where applicable or the piggy back system?

Why are you such a blatant ******** all the time? I wonder why they don't want to work with you. Oh, wait, no I don't.
Your post has nothing to do with the thread, and shouldn't be here.

I say THANK YOU Cobb, for helping expand the aftermarket for the 350Z.

Well, until today, we did not need anyone for our AP testing, we had all the in-house resources we needed. I don't know who you emailed here, but if you want to send me your info, I can forward it to the right person.

Sorry if you were not dealt with properly on our end. We usually make quite an effort to treat people right.

Not necessarily, I think we need some people at sea level. Send me your info and I will see if we can do anything for you.

I'm sure you'd be able to find all that you need with the 350z Utah Club. Good peeps.

We emailed "jared" or "chris" I think ,does that ring a bell?It was many months ago and we did recieve the generic email back but it was like 2 months after our original email was sent. And we are COBB dealers for WRX parts, which confused me a bit..
We wanted to get on board for some R&D testing of your product.

Sounds like a mis-communication between companies to me.

Just start over fresh and make it happen

No, it isn't miscommunication. It is typical of Cobb. I have absolutely nothing against Cobb, but I have received the same type of treatment ever since talk about an Accessport for the Z surfaced. To this day, I have never received a reply from a real person to any of my questions on the AP.

I hope they are smart enough to realize like Tubo XS did, that they wont break into the Z market by themselves, and having their old WRX ***** out dealers do it for them. They need a REPUTABLE group of 350Z shops to test and promote their product.

It could have been Chris. We don't have a Jared. But if you are still interested in being involved, email or PM me. As I said earlier, we have not needed testers until yesterday, so unfortunately, the sales people (like Chris) had no other information other than to let you know it will be a while before the product was going to be ready.
