Please read. no go plus engine code

i press the gas to rev it and no response. my a/f is reading fine. and i put the scanner and Code P0340 came up .
camshaft pos sensor circuit error(bank 1/1 sensor)

what does this mean

also if it is the sensor where is it located and how hard would it be to change+ the cost?

The Camshaft Position Sensor is located on the back of your engine right below the valve covers. I think I paid about 50 bucks each for them.
