Default Questions about utec

I have one question im confused i have a utec and a full build engine with

greddy tt the problem is the factory ecu that i have is for a/t car but my car

is m/t. is it fine to install that ecu with utec on my engine??

I don't think the UTEC cares (or even knows) whether you have an auto or manual transmission. It just controls the injectors and timing based on RPM and load - doesn't mess with any shift points.

However, this is coming from someone who doesn't even own one yet.

If he's trying to put a factory ECU that is for an automatic in a car with a manual, I'm pretty sure it won't work.
UTEC doesn't care, but factory ECU does.
Factory ECU on a Z has shift light and features specific to a manual, and that will differ from an automatic.

found also a factory ecu but its for the rev up engine and my engine is not

will it work fine with my engine??

What happened to your car's ECU? I assume you can't use that one?

If you swap ECUs, make sure you get the keys that go with it, or the car won't start... You could always get it reflashed though.
