anybody tried this ? the coolant control valve...
good... bad.... any comments ?

the valve stops the coolant flow to the plenum near the throttle body, allowing for hot or cold starts and adjusting idle and what not
turning this off will keep your plenum cooler, possibly increasing butt dyno hp

The CCV allows you to selectively heat (or not heat) the plenum assembly. With local weather temperatures below 55'F the valve is left open. In warmer weather the valve can be closed for maximum thermal benefits.
