I'd really like to know what you did. Was it as simple as plugging it in and going, or did you have to tell Cobb about your mods first before they sent it out? Or did you get online and punch in your mods and got some kind of mapping program. I want to know the details please.
I just went out for a bit more testing.
I love the performance feature. I did some 0-60 testing...myself specifically really needs the raised rev-limiter. I keep hitting fuel cut-off right before 60 in 2nd gear.
I'd also like it if I could get some logs of the different runs. Maybe not to change them myself, but to take a look at my car. Thoughts?

To all,
My name is Christian Krahenbuhl, I am a trainer, one of the calibrators at Cobb Tuning, and I manage the AccessTUNER Professional network. We have set up a company blog and I also have a personal section there for myself that you are welcome to read through to get a better idea about our company and myself. We have several other calibrators here including Billy Brooks, Tim Bailey, Trey, and Rob Irish. We have extensive experience with tuning Subarus, Mitsubishis, Honda, Nissans, & Mazdas through the OEM ECU. I am also familiar with calibrating various stand alone ECUs on rotary and piston engines running various HC based fuels. As you know, we have released the AccessPORT for the 2003-2006 USDM Nissan 350Z and the G is soon to come. I wanted to make myself available to answer any questions you may have concerning the AccessPORT and the AccessTUNER Professional software. I will be paying attention to this and many other forums so please allow me sufficient time to respond.
I will be working with Sharif (Forged Performance) and other tuners across the U.S. in order to help them better understand the various aspects of using the AccessPORT. I look forward to answering your questions. As with many new products that we release, we cannot expect to get everything absolutely perfect with the initial release of a product. We appreciate your feedback and we want to make sure we understand your expectations of our products for the 350Z. We have set up this link on our forums to help us directly communicate with our 350Z AccessPORT end users. Please feel free to register there so you can communicate directly to us.
Take care,
Christian.

Hi. Nice to have another company guy on the forums.
Question. It looks like you have two maps. I would guess that future maps would come from other owners? ie... (if the street tuner was avaiable), an owner develops a map and emails it to you for possible public download?
Or all the maps done in house?

Interesting part in bold. In a good or bad way? Was there an intake that did not adversly affect the maf readings or one that you guys were happy with?

We would like to have a Stage2+ or Stage3 calibrations that addresses the leaning out issues that occur with the use of headers, plenum spacers, intakes, etc. Although, I would like to have you all come to a consensus as to what hardware combination work best. We will not have the resources to provide calibrations for every possible intake combination. Most intakes that we tested skewed the MAF reading to the point that the sensor needs to be re-calibrated. This was a bit disappointing to see coming from big name companies, but that was what was being offered to the market. We are happy to address what we can as long as it is within reason. I will await additional responses.
Take care,
Christian.

Christian,
Are the motors going lean enough to cause internal damage or will it just cost power?
My AP arrives tomorrow and I'm wondering if I should install it or wait for a stage 3 map. I could reinstall all the stock intake stuff and remove the test pipes pretty easily, but I don't want to take the headers off.
thanks
mike
