Default TB mod= worse performance???

i got my car tuned a few months ago by uprev and they did that thing that keeps my throttle body open 100% all the way to redline, and set my afr's to 12.8. Now for some reason it feels as if my car pulls better with only about 3/4 throttle as compared to WOT.... could it be that i am getting too much air in and maybe nissan made the TB close about 20% up top for a reason??? even though shouldnt the tune have been able to correct the "bogging" with the extra air????

the tune should have compensated for the extra throttle. Classic case of you getting used to things and not noticing minute differences that stand out when you first upgrade.

A/F ratio is off at WOT so the ECU is pulling timing?

All I can think of.

too much air is not the problem. lOl! If your car was tuned to 12.8 a/f on wot dyno runs and that is what it still is, your ecu is probably pulling timing. Im guessing you don't have a wideband so getting back on a dyno is your best bet.
