Default Reflash Cost

I have two quick questions:

1) What is the general cost of getting a reflash at a reputable tuning shop?
2) What combination of mods should be done before a reflash will be beneficial?

Thank you for the help guys!

$250+shipping there and back for technosquare. Most tunes are around 200-400$.

I have an appointment with TechnoSquare on 4/10/2008 to reflash my '07 Nismo Z. The only engine mod I have is the Nismo CAI. I do not plan on modifying the engine further as I think the CAI and reflash are all the new engine needs. This is going to cost me $700!!! (550 for the reflash and 150 for the Dyno). This had better be worth it!

I cannot wait to get it back and check the results!!!

It would be more worth it if you had more breather mods first. I would suggest at least getting some HFC/Test Pipes, a full exhaust, and a spacer then get it tuned.

However I was going that route when I realized a few things. VQ35DE reacts crappy to N/A bolt ons and I am thinking about saving for a Vortech S/C.

The VQ35HR should react much better to bolt ons.

If all I have is a dop in K&N filter and a 3/8" spacer....what should I expect from a reflash? Increase in power, throttle response, mpg?
