Driver's skills are essential, guy! I know of a Zed owner with AT, who humilia-
ted another Zed owner with MT. Many factors are involved in the racing bu-
siness--whether for $$ or for plain old fun.

For what its worth some of us that want F/I live in areas where emissions and smog laws won't allow it. So why spend 10K and then have to take it off every year to smog it? I'm sure F/I is awesome on this car but I don't wanna bribe an guy to pass my car.

The vortech supercharger kit is carb approved and is easily capable of delivering 400whp on a stock motor.

I just noticed the OP was in UAE. Just go all out and build it with a tt setup and embarrass some of those lambos and ferraris rolling around there.

If you can't beat a GTI, there's something wrong with your car. Plus your mods aren't exactly what I'd, personally, call quality or worthwhile. With the exception of the MD.

Right. If the car sticks to you for 3 gears, stock or otherwise, you've got problems with your car.

FI is definately the way to go for all out HP... But it's not as reliable as NA. I guess it's a trade off like with everything else in life...

The HP you gain off a tune is nothing in comparison to how your car will run. yeah you may only gain 10 hp off the tune but your car will be a beast compared to now. You equal out the fuel to go with the new air flow and you wont have flat spots in your RPMs where the conditions lean out more than they should. The car will pull pull pull. I honestly haven't been in a NA tuned Z but from what i hear it's night and day from the stock configurations.

I'm at that stage now where i'm bolted up enough for a tune, but have lost intrest figuring the extent you have to go through to have it done. Not like getting something in the mail and putting it on Have to drive across state and wait. two things i dont enjoy much lol

My friends has a GTI thats got a couple of mods intake/exhaust/Downpipe/Reflash tuned. Dynoed @240flywheelhp DD

I was N/A with Intake/Exhaust/TP/spacer/pulleys/Clutch/Flywheel and dynoed @315flywheelhp dynopak..

When we raced from either stand still or rolling 2nd, I was always ahead of him by abt half a car length and only started pulling away at 5th..the GTI has a launch control std and that DSG is real quick.

Now when I have twins, he's just a disappearing image in my side view mirror...

A 3.9 or 4.08 final drive will do more for acceleration than any basic bolt ons or a tune.

You will definitely see a difference with this mod. Anyone who considers doing their gears should do this 1st if they are staying NA

But you seriously need to get a reflash or tune on the car, the factory ECU just will not adjust to make the most out of your mods. With UTECS running about $750 theres no reason not to, plus it can easily carry over to FI.
really?... where did you get this info?...
