I believe gothchick has one.

If you want to be a true baller you would go with a Haltech

I've had one for a little over a year.

Mods:

pop charger
5/16 spacer
MREV2
coated Styup headers
Berk HFC's
Nismo exhaust
UTEC

I put down 260/252 with a conservative tune, on a VERY heat soaked run with high humidity. I wanted a safe tune, since it's a track car and it's gets pushed often. I was previously making around 240 hp with a original tune and had someone take a second look and it runs 100x better now!

I've been meaning to put it back on the dyno to see what it makes under better conditions, but havent got around to it. It's probably in the 265/270 range. I'm very happy with my torque numbers and the fact that I made 20+ hp with a good tune.

Here's my thread from last summer.

https://my350z.com/forum/tuning/284207-utec-tune-dyno-s.html

I don't have that exhaust or HFC's anymore. Now I have the Fast Intentions catback w/ matching test pipes. I'm going back to MRC for some dyno runs and an adjustment to my UTEC, was only trapping 98mph last night at the track.

Yeah, Haltech or F-Con is teh schnizznitt. UTEC is still pretty cool, even though TXS has all but forgotten about it.

I have a UTEC with full boltons, heat shielding, cooling, etc... PM me & maybe we can share some NA maps if our mods are close. 3.9FD or 4.083 gears would also be the way to go if you're staying NA.

EDIT: In case the OP doesn't realize; dyno numbers really mean nothing when trying to compare different mods, on different cars, on different days, with different atmospheric conditions, using different dynos. That's why we've never had a "dyno sticky". It's just meaningless.

The most meaningful thing you can do with dyno numbers is to compare YOUR baseline to YOUR finished build - Hopefully using the same dyno, with the same settings, with similar atmospheric conditions, etc...

If you go full bolt on's your not gonna see big gains without a tune. This is why you see some low dyno numbers posted on here. Especially those that go with headers or plenum mods. I thought I wasted my money until I got a good tune.

IMO from what i've seen headers on Z's that are not FI just loose power. not sure if a tune can make a Z with headers that's not FI perform that much better.. Now as for everything else surely agreed on getting a tune.. I guess what i'm saying is that IMO i wouldnt get headers for unknown performance factor and cost and pain of installation.. Even my mechanic asked me not to bring him headers.. And he's my buddy... LOL

Give Jeremy a call at the Performance Factory, he's in Orlando. You can also PM Audible Mayhem here on my350z.

Jeremy tuned my NA G and I'm very happy with the results... although I went with a Haltech, not a UTEC.

The headers added mostly midrange power judging by the A/F ratios (on my car) and on dyno's of other cars w/ before & after dyno's with the headers.

You wont loose power, most of the gains will be in the curve.

I did mine myself and save the $$$. It took a while, but it wasnt that hard, just time consuming.

please keep us posted as you move forward. I've been comtemplating headers myself but would love to see the power it produces once a baseline dyno is performed.. Good Luck

Axel = which i had a garage bro..

I did mine in my parents driveway!

I took 2 days and we didnt work on it the entire 2 days. With another set of hands it went pretty fast. Just make sure you have 14mm wrench and socket extension known to man.
