TechnoSquare ECU is now Offically Available!

I'd like to buy either way, but I'd rather wait until I hear a definite "No group buy" or "Yes, it's possible, lemme check..."
Thanks for all the patience and determination, Ches. Perfect timing, too, since I just got back from vacation. Now, it's time to blow even more money... debt, what debt?

I only ask because, with the mods I have, the engine is already toward the lean side. Were I to add high-flow cats, headers and an intake, then it would almost certainly be running too lean. I'm hoping the new ECU will keep the mixture in a safe zone-

ah. sorry.. my mistakes.
there is an UPDATE of the version you have if the software changes..
but there is also a ONE time UPGRADE to turbo/nos/SC program for $20 if you happen to go that route.

Hmmm, so on our initial flash, are you saying that you will take into account the mods that we already have on our particular car, or will everyone get the same flash??? I would assume that if everyone gets the same flash, any mods would be fine with the initial flash, except FI.
And, in your last post, Chebosto, are you saying that there is no upgrade for just exhaust, headers, and such?? I would assume the only upgrade would be for FI from what you said.

If it's like other ECU's such as Hondata, APR and GIAC, then any bolt on mods you add will be fine. They really don't lean the car out that much, and I'm sure Technosquare kept the A/F ratio well within the safe limits. But if you want to add a form of FI, such as Nitrous or Supercharger you are going to need to send the ECU back in to get reflashed.

What would really be cool, was if you all took the ATI Procharger kit (Tuner Version) used larger injectors, and then did a real Fuel and Timing program for it, and sold that!

i asked Danny about the graphs? here's what he said..
"Tadashi said it was SP ignition pick up that was having problems. That guy can call them and ask. That's why the graphs don't match up. There is no cut and paste on the dyno. I think at the time of dyno, the rev was set at stock. We were originally going to leave it stock, but decided to raise it to 7100 so people don't hit the rev limiter and damage their motors"
hopefully that answers your concern....

2 things though.
First, The dyno plots dont intersect at 5252. Looks like stock is 5150 RPM and Modded is 5750 RPM. The stock plot hit fuel cut even before 6500. Even the Dyno viewer plugin will correctly plot 2 dyno runs. Cant really compare if the plots are shifted 500 RPM off.
Second, if the rev limit is now 7100, why doesnt the dyno show the power past 6600. It stops at 6600 or thereabouts.

DeeZee--
contact Danny@atagan.com
he has the details for NOS programs, i think you can get the rev limit raised, with a slight advancement in timing down low to help get off the line, then retard it out with richen the fuel at the top end, when your Nitrous system should be activated at WOT... but i'm not quite sure...

for the BOTTLE BABIES....
ok I have good news, bad news and ummm... just comments... first off I got my ECU flashed last night at technosquare and the guys are real cool.
bad news for all the BOTTLE BABIES like me. if you are runnin a dry shot (I'm runnin 100) Technosquare will not touch your fuel map or ignition map. this means you will not get any more fuel economy or really anymore HP. they do help you not to lose power at the top end by keeping everything wide open(they said that) anyways... the reason they wont touch it is because the nitrous leans it out at top end anyways and if they bump up the ratios to around 12 like they have been on everyone else when you squeeze it will kick it up to around 14 and BOOOMMM....
good news for wet system owners they can modify the ignition and fuel maps since you are puting in more fuel with the nitrous...
anyways I had them bump the rev limiter, cut the speed limiter, and all the detuning stuff, along with anything they did... the only thing they wouldnt touch is the fuel and ignition maps.
now onto the comments...
CHESTON... your car looks so sad up like that... but I was staring at your tein setup with the edfc and I almost tryed to steal your car...(jk) and there really is no room for that turbo its tight... but
anyways... this was just to inform all the nitrous boys and girls...
later....

I have used performance control chips in BMWs before. Some make a big difference (1990 535i), and some make almost no difference (1995 M3). The 350Z Track is my first Japanese car and I am just trying to figure out how to make it go faster, prior to taking the big leap to a supercharger later on.
Thanks.
Richard

question: will a SAFC or whatever the hay its called work with this? an air/fuel ratio tuner? what, exactly, does it DO? dont say it unlocks the potential
, Id like to know how. Im a technical guy who likes to know HOW something works, not just that it works. Feel free to PM me if you dont want to post it here. Thanks.
