Exclamation HELP!!! utec boost controller- how to get it working?

we have this hooked up on jason's (barzten1) car, followed the instructions on the turbo xs site for vacuum line plumbing, hookd the red wire to constant power, the black wire to pin#2 on utec... even tried alternating the black wire with the blue wire...
sharif ws kind enough to answer a few questions a minute ago, he mentioned that if setting say a vlue of "10" in the 500/1000 rpm 0% column, the solenoid will click at idle, i can;t get it to click!?!?!?!?! any ideas?

under special constants, these are my settings:

Boost Control Gain (0 to 100) : 70
Wastegate Closed Below MAP (psi, OFF = 0) (0 to 10) : 0
For Future Use : 0
Boost Control (CLOSED = 0, OPEN = 1) (0 or 1) : 1
MAP Calibration (Gradient) (1 to 300) : 112
MAP Calibration (Intercept) (1 to 300) : 150
MAF Minimum Value for mapping (volts) (0 to 5) : 0
MAF Maximum Value for mapping (volts) (0 to 5) : 5
TPS Minimum Value for mapping (volts) (0 to 5) : 0.8
TPS Maximum Value for mapping (volts) (0 to 5) : 4.5
TPS Threshold Point for mapping (%) (0 to 80) : 50
MAP Minimum Value for mapping (psi) (-15 to 60) : 1
MAP Maximum Value for mapping (psi) (-15 to 60) : 18
Boost Map 5 -> Spare Sol. (NO = 0, YES = 1) (0 or 1) : 0
MAP Averaging (0 to 32) : 10
For Future Use : 0
Tuner PIN Number (4 digits) (DISABLE = 0000) : ****

PLEASE HELP- we need high boost

My settings are pretty much the same except I have 32 (max) on my Map Averaging and Wastegate Closed Below MAP = 2 since I'm shooting for 8psi (manual state to subtract 6 from you max boost as base line 8-6=2). Boost gain is meaningless if you are running Open Loop. I'm pretty sure you guys know that the Boost Map is using TPSXRPM right..

edit: my Map Min/Max Value is 1/10, other than that our settings are pretty close.

athenG,
if you put a value of say "10" in the 500/ 100 rpm column at 0% load can you hear the solenoid clicking?
Thanks

When I had my bcs, I did hear the clicking with stuff in the 500/100 rpm column.

I don't doubt your abilities as an installer but that molex plug was a ***** for me to get installed right. The pin was a pain. I would double check that and make sure the solenoid is working by grounding the pin to the frame of the car.

The pin on the utec is a triggered ground.

Ok I just tried it but my solenoid is mounter just behind the Engine. I tried to put my head on top of it but there is to many noise that I can't distinguish if there is a click or not... I tried it at least 5 times. Sorry, if there is a click then it is probably not that loud for me to separate it from the engine noise.
