Default raising idle

Does anyone know how to raise idle. Can't find any dealerships that will and Tecnosquare wants $150 just to raise idle only.Sounds kind of high to just raise idle to 1k. Is there anyone on the east coast that does the same as tecnosquare. Cali is so far away. Hate the down time.

everyone I talked to today said the same thing.. All we can do is reinstall the factory settings in the ecu and that was it.They had no way to alter idle.

I'm looking to get it done too, and was considering buying the Cipher and then doing a rental program thing. $100+ is ridiculous for 5 mins worth of work. However, I have to wait for my house to sell because I'm flat broke :-/

Unfortunately the Cipher will only raise it 250 rpm's - just like what the dealer can do (i think). I'll let you know if I get it...but it won't be for probably a month

Resurrecting this. I'm going to be getting another TS reflash soon and I'm interested in raising my idle. My question is, will raising the idle cause the car to throw a CEL? Can I raise it to 1k without any problems or do I need to go lower? I need to pass inspection but 600 RPMs is a bit ridiculous imo.

Anyone? No CEL/SES if I have it bumped up to 900 or 1k? I'm leaning more towards 900.

I cleaned my TB a couple days ago and got a SES, so I did the reset tricks to reset the ecu and the TPS. I also put the key into the on position with the engine off and had a friend floor it to watch the butterfly. Maybe that gave me a SES?

Has anyone had their idle raised on here?
