Thumbs down Official Split Second FTC Thread

Hey guys I wanted to start this so everyone will know to stay away from this piggy back. So far here has been my eperience with it.

Stock Map: Super rich towards top end (about 10 to 1)

MRC Tune: MRC Tuned the car for air/fuel of about 12-11.5 to 1. Air/Fuel went super lean sometime after the tune (about 17 to 1)

Altered Atmosphere: AAM tuned the car after installing fuel return system, bigger injectors, ECU Reflash, and fuel pump. Car is currently running about 9.5 to 1 as soon as I go above 4 psi.

Everyone tuner I have talked to hates it do to lack of functionality and user friendliness.

Hopefully others will either back me up on this or have other things that sucked about it. I hope anyone planning on going forced induction or still using this POS will get rid of it as soon as possible.

Not sure why you would even consider running this.

And this isn't just towards you. I don't get why people spend so much money on FI systems for our cars and use a shitty EMS with it.

LOL

SpiltSecond is ...IMPO...is much less hassle and trouble than alot of other piggybacks . I had 550 injectors . return fuel and running 20psi . Self tuned up to 16psi [ as far as the SS box will go ] with no prroblems at all .

We have already attached the wiring of the split second to the stock ecu, but all wires are correct except with the MaF sensor, we still do not get the reading to our laptop. what might be wrong and what we should do? Im from the philippines, we just installed a turbonetics single turbo kit in 2006 nissan 350z. hoping for favorable responses. thanks
