reflash question

Default reflash question

lets say i went to technosq. and got my ecu messed with, would it get reset if i unplugged my battery,back to the stock settings? would the reflash be reset

I don't think so. The ECU is actually reprogrammed and would have to be re-programmed again to be set back to the factory settings.

Correct, you'd need to reflash the ECU to remove what has been flashed on it. We send out a cable with our system in case the dealership flashes your ECU, we can recover it without having to ship the ECU back and forth. Plus you get Cipher for free with our flash system.

Bingo. Can't undo a reflash without reflashing it again. I read that sometimes dealers will reflash cars just to do it. So I'd avoid taking my car in for an oil change or anything.
