Default Cobb AccessPORT

Has anyone been able to use it and get decent gains out of this tuner??

I was just wondering if the gains were minimal or not??

I have the AccessPORT and the gains are minimal. It is a fairly new product, however, and they are working on new maps so keep an eye on it.

Did you just upload the stage 2 for just the basic bolt ons? or did you get it actually dyno tuned? Im trying to decide between Utec or the Accessport.

I'm curious about the opinions on utec vs. accessport too. The utec is obviously more common and most likely due to the fact that the accessport is new, however i'm curious either way.

same cost as Cobb, but you get to send in datalogs, and they'll edit the map for your car....and you can have an after market intake. (not that I think the aftermarket intake is worth buying)

Utec and accessport are different beasts entirely. Accessport would be more akin to our product or the technosquare. Difference is you don't need to take our product to a Pro Tuner and pay for an update to the flash that will allow it to work properly with your car. You can if you'd like, but you don't have to :-)

We have some updated calibrations for all of our current Z offerings. These are the Stage2+ calibrations which are intended for vehicles with cat-back exhaust, headers, plenum spacers, high flow catalysts or race pipes, and aftermarket intakes. Please let us know how these perform for you. We will soon be updating the firmware on the AP so it is able to datalog. This will allow our Professional AccessTUNER network to more easily custom tuner your vehicles.

Take care,
Christian.

"Stage2+ is intended for vehicles with cat-back exhaust, headers, plenum spacers, high flow catalysts or race pipes, and aftermarket intakes."

does this require all of these or just some?

Probably most... I'm sure if you're missing one you should run the stage 2 map.

I am not so sure about this as running these on stage 2 causes a lean condition. I would like to see some numbers on the stage 2+ though. I feel the can maps give much better gains on the RevUp compared to the DE. I have the AP on both cars and there seems to be a definite difference on the RevUp but not so much on the DE. I will see about getting them dynoed on the same day to give better results. Both cars have the same basic mods so results should be fairly informative.
