Default Post your Logs

This first log is 4th pull started at 30mph. Weather temp. 38 degrees outside 930pm.

Second log was done over weekend was in the 40's. You can see a Boost Spike and a Sh*t load of knock.

I now have fuel cut off at 10 psi it was at 15psi my tuner should have lowered it. And I never checked till I over boosted. Lucky this utec saved my azz.

Try to post your logs so we can all see and compare. FI & NA.... I am still working on my winter tune almost there.

Maybe it is just me but 26 deg timing is a little high for 1-2psi, even your stock ignition is only begging for 20 deg and your tuner decide it is not enough and added more... also 17-19 deg at around peak TQ (4000-5000rpm) is high for 8psi. I would get a different tuner and insist to set the Map min value for mapping to 1psi and the Max to 10 psi. You are wasting precious resolution by setting your 100% column to around 15-16 psi if you are only boosting 8psi. Your tune is wack my friend and dangerous... Also why do you target 12.5:1 A/F on full boost? That is too lean for our car and on top of that your timing is high.. The leanest I'll go on pump gas (93 octane) on our car is 11.7:1, but this is just me.. I have gotten 2 bad gas of tank and having 12.5: A/F dont leave you any room for error...

Edit:
I saw you have a met injection but even with that I whodunit run more than 12.0:1 A/F. What % of meth are you running? Are you running Pure Meth? Eve with Meth your timing is a little on the edge.. you are not knocking so that is good but you can see that when temp changes or condition changes you end up knocking right away, this is because your tune dont leave any room for error.. just my .02

I had it tuned at 7.2 psi that's all I could get out of it, and yes I no my timing is aggressive that's how I got those mustang dyno #'s. Since then I installed a EBC and that's when it all changed, more boost and boost coming on earler and harder. I am running 50/50 mix of pure meth and water. Start spraying at 4psi.

Did you notice how rich it go's when It transfers to the 10% column. I have had this problem even when I was procharged. Can't feel or notice it at WOT don't even feel any turbo lag, but the logs speak for itself.

When I get off work will try and post knock settings

It could be your Fuel Table is dumping that much fuel in the lower RPM and load 10. subtract some fuel from 2000rpm-2250rpm and load 10 and see if it improves. From 0 psi to 2psi your are basically using the same fuel (IPW) since your column is an increment of about 2psi. Like I said set your load column to 1psi to 10 psi so you can have better control on your fuel and timing. Utec already suck in resolution and only have 10 load column so why waste half of it if you are not going to use it? right now you basically only have 5 load column for tunning since you hardly see load 60 and above..

AthenG I don't know how to capture a screen shot so I just took some pic's with my phone. Tonight I added some fuel in the 60% column for safety and took a little timing away too. Also took away some fuel & timing in the 0% & 10% columns. Did some logging but the damn uti didn't save my logs. Now I'm in the low 12 to high 11's in the 50% column and now hitting the 60% column. Will log again tomorrow will post up the log. I think I got that rich spot were it goes to the 10% column fixed thanks for the help.

Your knock setting is ok but I would set the 6000-7000 rpm to maybe 60-65 (I have 65). Your Map Max value for mapping is set to 15 which is a waste.... Set that to 10 but if you do you will need to retune pretty much everything.. Your Open Loop Map Threshold is set to .5 while your Min Map Value For Mapping is 2 which is not that bad. For simplicity purposes I would set the Open Loop Map threshold to 0 and your Min Map Value to 1. This way your Open Loop Fueling will kick in at 0psi and your load column will compose of 1-10psi... good luck..

I will change open loop to 0, When I was procharged I had it set at -2 for the change over. I know what you mean by changing Map value to 10 but don't want to pay for another tune. Next spring going to take it to Injected Performance for a haltec and tune they are only a little over a hour drive from me.

If you are not going to change your load mapping value then leave the open loop as is. If you set it to 0 then you will be rich around 0-1psi coz your load 10 Fuel table is tuned for 2psi... It shouldn't be that bad coz you are already tuned for 10psi so you can copy your value from load 60 to load 10 and spread your value from 10-60 accordingly... Just make sure the fuel and timing transition is smooth. This will give you a good base...
