Default UTEC Program anyone...?

I have a buddy with a '03 G35 6spd that he just purchased from Atlanta with UTEC, but the seller did not give him a copy of the UTEC program. Now he's kind of up a creek w/o a paddle. The other day he was cruising down the highway at 60 when the car started to lose power and he lost his brake assist, then his steering locked up. Sounds like a fuel pump issue, so he ordered a 255....should have it today. We found out from the previous owner that the factory fuel was never upgraded even after the motor was fully built to handle 700hp, which also had a PE TT Kit along with suede Sparcos, built tranny, Volks, fully system, JIC Suspension...I think you get the picture. I'm afraid there's more damage internally, but we're starting with the basics first. In order to move forward though, we need a copy of the UTEC program or someone in the local Dallas area that has the UTEC program on a laptop to retune the car. He's only running 385cc Injectors also which to me is very weak for his complete set-up. The previous owner also told him that he has only been running it at 9lbs., but when we took it out, it was spiking at 10-11lbs. If anyone can help us with this headache, we would be grateful. Thanks in advance everyone!!

Upgrade your injectors the ones you listed are only good for maybe 400whp or less. And if you want to go above 500whp get a Fuel Return.

Ya, I mentioned to Joey to get at least 550cc, but the guy he bought this from didn't know anything about this car. He sd that he had it tuned for 9lbs. on high boost, but it's been spiking higher down here in this crazy weather we are having in North Dallas. It was 70 yesterday and now it's snowing and 22 degrees. Go figure.

Once you get the utec figured out go into parameters and set your boost cut to 10 psi, so it will cut fuel if your map sensor reads the over boost.

Good point. It looks like either the fuel cut was set too high last time or not at all. Who knows...

There is no special software to tune Utec, all you need is to Telnet or HyperTerminal from Windows to access it.. Just read the Manual 10x and things will be a lot clearer. If want to do your own tuning then get the Tuner coz it will make tuning a lot lot lot easier.

Come on Brian, who else would go by that name.

If need to, I have a laptop that I can bring over that has putty on it. I can review the manual look around. I also have a 15 ft serial cable and everything needed to hook it up.

It would be nice if we could get his car fixed for his birthday, which is today.
