Cobb Tuning Access port
Anyone heard any bad things about it? Can I run their stage 2 map safely with 75shot of nitrous and some vp racing q16 gas? My current mods are AAM race pipes and Greddy TIC Ypipe back exhaust.

Ask at the COBB website. They are very vague with the details for their maps. Stage 1 is for basically stock cars. Stage 2 says it requires high-flow cats. None say anything about nitrous or higher octane gas than 91.
I was looking at that myself, thinking about getting it... until this last week. I haven't heard anything specifically bad about the product, just the customer service. It seems like a really popular mod for other cars (WRX, MS3, etc), but not so much for Z's and G's.
I actually decided against it and ordered an Uprev Osiris earlier this week. My reasoning was basically this:
I liked the AccessPort because of its simplicity and ability to do some cool things such as record 0-60 and 1/4mi runs. However, they only offer 3 map options - Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 2+. Personally, I think it's too much of a cookie-cutter solution to the "problem" of your car. The Uprev Osiris, straight out of the box, is more custom-tuned to your vehicle and mods. Then, you add on the ability to use Cipher, get personal data recording, and feedback from Uprev in the form of eTunes, and you have a personalized, custom tune specific to your vehicle and its setup.
I think you'd get a better result out of something like the Uprev Osiris. Outside of the 0-60 and 1/4mi type of data, you get the at least the same functionality and then some. My 2 cents: go for the Osiris. I've heard nothing but good things about that.
Sorry if that was too much of a response. I know you just asked about the AccessPort...

According to COBB the AP will have more functionality soon.

But at this moment in time Osiris does seem to be a better option for you. However, you can also request a custom map for your car from COBB.

I have one of the APs and really like it. With a firmware update they now have the ability to do data-logging.
As far as using the stage 2, that's probably your best bet, but to get the best results, you'd need to have a tune done to put on top of the stage 2. Basically, you'd reflash to stage 2, then have a map (or maps) tuned that you would add to the stage 2. The tune maps would be switchable.
Also, their customer service has been absolutely excellent so far. They have answered all of my questions and have been extremely helpful.

I'm so-so about it overall. When I get my TT it's going to be useless to me unless they get their TunerRACE firmware out (not banking on that anytime soon). I'm considering returning it before the time limit runs out. I couldn't even get an answer to a very simple question on their forums. At this moment I feel like I wasted $750.

Where are you from? Our Pro Tuners can tune directly for nitrous and race gas without issue with our system. Our Osiris Tuner will allow you the same functionality if you are planning on tuning it yourself.
I'm also going to return this COBB AP. It has it's uses, but just isn't what I'm looking for. For someone who is going to stay N/A, it's probably fine.
