Question 2000 rpm idle

I got occasionally a 1500-2500 rpm idle at my twin turbo 350Z...
at Nissan a mechanic said that sometimes my "CT valves are "locking" and need cleaning or change.

Could this be the reason for the idle issue??

nop, it's mainly after a "good" ride... usually after some high speed kilometers, cooling down the pace... weird!

Sounds like the ecu is going into some form of limp mode. I'd bet this is directly related to your 'engine errors' thread.
