Would u do a "tune" when u installed your JWT Popcharger / CAI?
We've tuned a number of totally stock vehicles. A tune won't make cool race car sounds like an intake or exhaust will, but none the less, a tune is a good choice no matter how far along you are in your mod list.
how much increase in HP do u usually get out of stock VQ35DE's?????

Your car will gain what it will gain, averages don't mean **** because to be an average, half the cars will make less... What if your car is on the less side? Are you going to be mad about it and blame the tune?
Your best bet is to understand what tuning is and how it affects your motor. The more you know the better your choices will become and the happier you will be with the outcome. If you want to just hear a number and just not understand what tuning is then I might suggest you go check out Cobb and read their "you'll gain XXXX using our product" kind of marketing.
As there is no need to mod either
I have a REVUP and I know with a simple OSIRIS tune I would gain quite a bit...both in power and fuel economy....from the A/Fs I had on my base line and after my mods Nissan programs these maps FATTTT and even just a little leaner I could gain a few ponies and reduce the fuel wasted
I think the HR guys have more to gain with the extra revs and revamped motor but given the ability to tweak the timing on the REVUPs I can see a few more hp in the mid range as well
With breathing mods I think the gains would be more pronounced but even stock I think there are a few ponies to be had plus laying the foundation for more gains with mods and a proper tune

Yes, a tune is always a good value when modding a car for performance.
If you don't want to spend the money for a full tune, have your car dyno'd somewhere that can give you an air/fuel curve. If you car's running lean or rich, get a tune.

Dont ask us get a dyno and find out if you do or not.
