the files are soooo old does anyone even know the changes from 2.6 to 2.8???????

 

I think there was a bug were the Utec is using the wrong load/cell.. I believe for boosted car it is not wise to even attempt to use 2.6. Do you want to use 2.6 because you want to use the spare solenoid? I believe Jeremy has a work around with the 2.8..

 

theres no work around. i've been using the spare solenoid control on my meth kit for years.

the old 2.6 had input for stock injector size and aftermarket injector size. dont think it scaled correctly. and there were def problems going into boost.

i found it one time by doing a google search. i dont have it anymore though

ya i just put my values that i wanted to trigger the meth pump (mainly boost and AIT). i dont see why controlling nitrous would be any different.

you can actually use the newest version of the utec but you have to buy a map sensor in order for the spare solenoid to fire because manifold pressure is on of the required fail safes and without the sensor you can not get a propper reading to the utec-----------------------

Str8dum you have FI so thats probably why your 2.8 version works! You have a map sensor!

ahh, no wonder why people with just NO2 had problems as they were prolly just running off the MAF.

i guess it sucks if you are not tuned on speed density

 

Can you tune Speed density with NA? I have a map sensor! Running N20 soon! Rather use the newest version

 

2.8 only works if you have a map sensor. 2.6 works for NA nitrous but has A LOT of bugs in it if you are boosted.
