Haltech Platinum Pro (Silver) vs Haltech Paltinum (Red)
I was looking around on the internet and I sell the new Haltech Platinum Pro. The Pro is silver and I assumes it has more bells and whistles than the red Haltech Platinum. I was trying to weight up the differences in the new one and the older one other than the price. What are the differences in the two? Can the older ones use any upgrade firmware to have the same attributes as the Platinum Pro, or will consumers have to buy another ECU? I would assume that it can be upraged to the newst firmware out since you cannot download anymore haltech platinum products on the website

I just went to the website and there is a Platinum Pro for the 350z here is the link
http://www.haltech.com/index.php?opt...d=91&Itemid=78
I tried do do a search for it on the forum and did not come up with anything. Its something totally different. I wonder if people with the old haltech can upgrade to this one through firmware or something.

Nice find on the picture, but I think that's all it is - the mock up for an exterior that wasn't implemented (or hasn't yet been). It's not something different. There is only one Haltech unit for the 350Z currently on the market:

I know Haltech folks are always working on something (I've asked ), but the current unit has some nifty updates yet to come and a good bit of life left in it...
PM Hal@IP as InjectedPerformance is the US distributor if you wish to clarify.
