Default Cipher question

I am currently collecting a few bolt-ons (Motordyne catback exhaust and spacer) to start modifying my 05. I will probably follow up with an Osiris base map and e-tunes (no pro-tuners for Osiris anywhere near me at this point). I know what the capabilities of Cipher are as well, but have a question. I know the Osiris license marries to the first ecu it plugs into, but is this also true of Cipher? I would love to be able to use it to check and clear codes on my Maxima as well (it throws CEL's constantly). I could have sworn I had seen somewhere that cipher could be used on more than one vehicle, but in searching over the past couple of days I can't find any reference to that anywhere. I'm starting to wonder if I am thinking of the Accessport's capability as a code reader for multiple vehicles instead. Anyone know the answer to this? Thanks in advance.

cipher is not license based - you can use it on any vehicle.
