Ill admit I am pretty ignorant on the entire subject. From what I have read on this forum, its definitely a good investment after the bolt on mods are done.

Xact Dyno in Tempe, AZ can tune/re-flash with Osiris software at a good price, great results too. I got my dyno tune re-flash from them a few months ago and I couldn’t be happier with it. http://www.xactdyno.com/

I would get high flow cats or test pipes first though.

That's BS. But, I would suggest changing out your cats with test pipes or HFCs before tuning. Although still, if you tune now, you will see and feel good gains.

The problem I am having is that I cant find anyone local who will do it. Intense can't do it for me, they want to send my computer off to Cali and charge me $600 to have someone in Cali retune my computer.

If you are not going to have it dyno-tuned, save yourself $300 and mail it to us for the same ecu reflash service. Additionally, you can add on the connection cable ($199) which gives you three key advantages:
1. No need to mail your ecu in, you can upload the reflash yourself via simple OBD2 uploader
2. Enables datalogging, which you can send to us in order to get revised map(s) dialed in for your setup
3. Gives you access to CEL codes and the ability to reset them. (CEL codes can be disabled in your reflash as well)

Thanks Hal! You have been a big help. Can I drive my car while you guys have my ecu? Like I said, I am very ignorant to this stuff. I just want to buy my mods, get a retune done, and be done with it.

If you buy the connection cable in addition to the reflash itself, then you have 0 downtown as you flash the ecu yourself.

If you skip the cable and mail your ecu in for a reflash, then no - you can not drive your car while we have your ecu. Overnight return shipping is included to minimize downtime.

Correct and honest, is your check eng. lite coming on? Probly not because mass air systems have a perameter that they run on which is safe for your car. What you did should not excede preset fuel mapping or spark adv. Call COBB or do a web search for them. For $700 you get the scanner that remaps fuel and timing setting, you do it your self easy to do and also comes with preset tunes to chose from. The best way to tune with out a dought!
Have a 03 cobra with a lot of mods and a Diablo tuner that is the same as Cobb just for imports, promise you can't go wrong with Cobb.
