Default Osiris tuned 2007 G35 w/Kinetix velocity

Had a very nice guy exchange some emails with me on upgrades for the 2007 G35 coupe 6mt. After it was all said and done Mike went with the Stillen CB, Stillen HFC and the plenum was in the air.

Mike and all of us in the shop became intrigued as to what the Kinetix velocity would lay down over bone stock(on a revup). So I offered free testing just to get info on our dyno on what we are selling the consumer. Mike agreed on the testing(thanks Mike).

Testing started at 31degrees in the dyno bay and it ended the day at 43degrees.

This first pull is stock vs Kinetix. This is the very first pull for each setup. Blue=stock

This pull is the best power for stock and Kinetix. I hit the trigger late so run 5 is a better comparison. Blue=stock

This is stock run 5 hp is slightly different. Blue=stock

Kinetix before exhaust and after exhaust. Red=before exhaust

Before & after tune with Kinetix and Stillen. Green=before tune

This is the best Kinetix run vs tuned after other mods (Stillen HFC, Stillen CB and Z1 Z tube). Dyno brake went out so I will finish the tune this week. We have to get those pesky dips out. Red=untuned

This one is for people that like to do the first baseline compared to a tuned dyno run. Blue=stock first run.

219 whp baseline at 31 degrees in the bay with a revup on a dynojet?

that must be the one of the worst baselines ever on a dynojet.

That's actually 222rwhp. You never go by the first run. Run 4 and 5 is a true baseline.

Very good gains with good details on the process. Doesn't seem like the kinetix do much except for up high similarly to the cosworth. It would be interesting to compare this result with a spacer and a MREV2. Thanks for posting this up.

Even if he sold his car and put the money that he spent on mod to buy an HR it won't be enough. You also didn't take in consideration when the power comes in, so in effect comparing the peak power between the two is senseless.

Lol well you gotta spend more money to get the HR so he's even. Why does everyone have to rub it in that the HR makes more jam?

wow, that is a nice increase.

The torque looks great, great increase and pretty flat along the bottom so it wasn't just a quick peak increase.

Baseline/stock is actually 240WHP. Look at the next two dynos, those were stock and performed after the first one of 222WHP. I assume the car had cooled down considerably after the first dyno, usually because your car is hot off the street on the first run.

Either way, amazing work. The gain in the curve looks superb!

Is this the new version or the old one?

I have the old one and my base was 243whp with kinetix HFC, Sprut headers, Stillen TD, Injen CAI and other stuff. My base line (with mods) was running pig rich 10.7 to 11.5 AFR and had to pull a lot of fuel on the base UTEC tune.
Ended up 268 just from tuning but since the baseline was not with just the SSV, I can not attribute the AFR to it. If that was the factor I would have expected it to lean the tune (better flow) not to make it rich.
