Default where to go from here?

Hi gaiz,

I have an 06 Z with the following bolt-ons

HKS Intake
HKS True Dual Exhaust
Crawford High Flow Cats
Crawford Headers
MREV 2 Plenum + Spacer
Pulleys
Mishimoto Radiator

I took my Z to techno square yesterday for their famous "reflash" and the numbers before were 254 and after the tune I was pushing 284. I guess a 30hp gain is pretty good but I'm curious to hear from those who have been down my path and beyond (if you are a noob with no experience whatsoever, please STFU and GTFO) what else is there out there for me to do for better numbers?

I'm comtemplating TT in the near future but I want to know if there is anything else I can "bolt-on" in the mean time. I thank you in advance for your time and comments.

How much do stock 03-06Zs make on their dyno and/or what did your car make there when stock?

30 HP is pretty decent, unless you boost it, that is all you are going to get.....

I gotta ask, does it feel worth it? I know I had very similar results when I was N/A and I felt beyond disappointed

Some Cams, lightened Flywheel +HD clutch or some CF to lighten your Z.

That's why I ask. Your gain and overall numbers "seem high", but if stock cars are putting down 250rwhp, that gives a barometer.

N/A guys measure gains in 5-10 hp..... FI guys measure gains in 100's of HP.

I have been there and done that in both camps. I would maybe move to a lightened flywheel/clutch setup when the stocker goes, but would not rip into the motor for cams...NO WAY.

I would put money into suspension, brakes and wheels.

Not an item that would increase WHP but would increase acceleration (to a point). 4.08 gears If you pick up a complete pumpkin, it installs in less than an hour!

thanks for the input. I will most def get a lighter flywheel/clutch combo as soon as my stock one goes.

thanks Charley! I will eventually, I'm just waiting for some time to go before I pull the trigger because I'd hate if my wifey pulled the trigger on me because of the TT

^i felt nice increase in acceleration when i went from 3.3 to 3.5... so i imagine going from 3.5 to 3.9 would be good for you, but youll be in really high RPMs on the freeway and you would need to go back to a 3.5 or ideally the 3.3 (i believe) if/when you go FI.....

^^ that is the main reason I don't wanna do that because the chance of me going FI are very high.

thanks for the help meng. I've been lurking the "engine" vendor sections for a TT kit and reading lots about different kits with different set ups. I found a thread dedicated to FIed guys on stock motors. That got my attention, I read of a member on stock block pushing 469 at 10 or 12 psi - I was like it may be possible so I'm doing more reading before making a decision.
