Default Osiris: Ability to turn of traction control, adjust fans?

I've had the Osiris tuner software package for some time now and been anxious to see an update.

I've talked to Rich but there's nothing concrete on when an update will be released, if ever will, or what features will be included. I know it's a small company.

But i'm curious if anyone else would see an benefit to having the ability to disable traction control and ability to adjust the radiator fans kick on points?

I hate and can't seem to remember to disable traction control manually. So i prefer to turn it off by default, and switch it on IF i ever want it.

I run Evans Coolant and would like to adjust my fan kick on temp.

Personally, I would want the ability to 'power out' of a slide or spin rather than have the ECU confused and cut power when I need it most.

Two of my friends crashed because their cars began to spin out and when they need power, they didn't and they had absolutely no control of the throttle when traction control kicked in. Result, both crashed.

it called turning off the traction control=button on the left. I turn mine off everytime i get into my car because the 350z traction control is rather violent, in my opinion. I know my friend with a srt-4 has a obeII(how ever you spell it/call it) and he has a little pod screen were he can turn on the fans when ever he wants. maybe look into turbo xs or halttech( i think i spelled that wrong :/ sorry)

^^^ hey I do the samething every time I get in my Z but I gotta tell ya, sometimes that little critter can mess with you. I've done a few hard turns and it feels like you are just about to spin out of control,

kptechnologies sells a module that defaults TCS to OFF, and you have to turn it on if you want it on.

You can use the KP module to disable VDC and "remember" to keep it off automatically. Or you can cut the orange wire to the yaw sensor under the console via a momentary contact switch. Traction control will be completely disabled until you restart the car.

You can get a DIF dual fan universal controller to change temps. Lots of rewiring required. I had to do it because I have aftermarket fans... I'm not sure how you would wire up the stock fans, but I think you would wire in both coils for both motors (low and high speeds and let the DIF unit pulse width modulate the grounds).

thanks rcdash! I'll look into the KP module for disabling VDC. Curious if you've personally used it or heard good/bad things about the KP module?
