I know this is a dumb question, but...

I have a CEL from test pipes. I installed non-foulers and I want to reset the ECU using the pedal method.

Will using the pedal method erase my tune or reset any setting? I'd hate to have to pay for another tune.

 

No it won't erase your tune.

 

osiris/cipher should be able to clear your code for the test pipe. Mine is gone :/

 

Unplugging the battery, using the pedal reset, etc will not change or reset your tune.

Also, it is possible to disable the codes via your tune, but if you remove o2 related codes then the o2 readiness test will never show "Ready" when scanned.
