Um, this is just my opinion. But I really think the safc is bad, as is anything else that messes with your map/maf sensor. And its really bad on a FI setup. Lean out, advance your timing, blow your motor! have a nice day.

its like anything else - if you know how to tune it and you have the proper tools to do it with (datalogger and an EGT gauge are a very good start), it can be a self destruct button. If its in capable hands though, its an awesome piece or the price.

Problem is, most OBD2 cars don't respond well to piggybacks beyond using them for minor adjustments. Given the numbers they got, they are definately out of injector on that car!

Yes it was and they also used to older model. A newer model S AFC-II has been out for some time now.
