Default Had my Z tuned today..

Had my 03 Z tuned today at Injected Performance on a Dyno Dynamics.

Weather was about 80, not very humid.

Mods:
Nismo CAI
Powerlab Spacer
Berk HFC's
Stillen Y-pipe
Agency Power Exhaust

I didn't know what to expect because I have never been to a tuning before. Car made 245whp. It runs much smoother than before and has better throttle response. Hal told me he couldn't get much gains with the tune, only about 5hp. Thanks again to an awesome group of guys and a sweet shop! All comments are welcome.

A dyno chart with pre and post tune numbers would be helpful.

I had a Osiris reflash done today at Injected Performance and made 245whp. Before the reflash I made 240whp. I don't know what my Z was making stock. I just expected the numbers to be a lil bit higher but I guess it's not going to be because all I had done was a reflash. Sorry for the confusion.

I dont know but for the results it seemed to be a big waste of $. Stock DE's put out the same #s and the $2k in mods would be safely tucked away in the bank. Imo if increased power is your goal save up for Fi.

Bolt-on's will cause the car to run rich without tuning due to the narrow band O2 sensor's inability to sort things out. A tune helps with that. It is worth it to get a tune with those bolt-ons, as they significantly alter the airflow through the engine. There may be plenty of power gained under the curve that doesn't translate to a significant gain in peak HP or torque. You'd need a dyno before and after to see it. For all we know, he may have gained 20 hp at 4500 rpms.
