Uprev tune
guys i did an uprev tune (ecu reflush) and im not happy with it, so how can i get rid of it to reinstall the stock map? shalll i ask the dealer, or shall i ask the tuner to do that him self??

Do not go to the dealer!!
Just contact the tuner that you are not happy with it.
If he can not make you happy you can always contact up-rev with your
ECM # and info and they can send you the stock MAP.
I have used Vince @ R/T Tuning for e-tunes and find them great
I would find out if your tuner has used this platform to tune before
if not contact a local tuner who has and have your tuner speak to them.
It is worth a try as the UP-Rev is great and you should have 5 MAPs
to use through your cruise control and you could keep your stock MAP on one
of them

Ok let's just make long story short
I heard from a friend that he gained a very nice numbers and he feels the power on the street. So I had my Z tuned with only greddy exhaust. He got me around 34whp on mustang dyno. But I wasn't happy with the result, so he retuned it again and got me around 43 whp. I'm not a fan of the dyno numbers, so by comparison before and after to another stock Z, i didn't notice any differences. Then after that I sold the greddy, and did total of 3 runs on SAE calibrated dynojet, I got 248whp. Then I did a cipher logging, and their were no signal difference between the stock map and the tuned map.
So as I'm planning to get the haltech ECU, I first want to get rid of that damn up rev tune.

looks like you are in denial to the fact that our cars simply don't make much more power over stock...and you say you got a 43 whp gain over stock map? id really like to see that.

wow, fail on your part op. Your haltech isnt going to give you any more just because your spending close to 2k. Get a turbo and you get your 43hp gain :0)

Considering my mods I am very happy and especially happy that I have no mileage loss or need to fear any loss of reliability.

reason im getting haltech is im planning to install tomie Camhafts, then maybe GTM Super Charger (if im not happy with the reasults of the basic N/A mods).

im not a fan of dyno numbers.. so im not targeting to a certain number, but i want to feel the differences on the street. even if i gained 7 whp, but the car feels powerful and faster, i dont mind and would be more Happy

I had my Z uprev tuned on a mustang dyno, and 3 days ago I redyno it again on an SAE dynojet as a baseline before installing the parts.
Anyways, all my concern now is to remove that tuned map and get back my stock map.

You didn't get taken by the uprev, you were taken by the tuner.
Also, you will gain very little with doing cams on a stock engine. Way too much money with little results. There is so much more you can do n/a with better results with that kind of money. I think you need to look in the n/a forum a little more. These cars aren't like american muscle where the cams and heads are crappy and will make 50hp on just a cam change. These cars have shown to put down huge numbers on stock cams and heads with FI. Our cams and heads flow a lot from the factory.

but depends on my poor knowledge, n/a setup is all about proper breathing setup + cams + con rods + pistons. so as i mentioned earlier that i have a plan to get the GTM SC, i still can make use of my N/A setup (except the intakes off course)
i know that n/a builds cant go further than certain numbers, but who knows, maybe i will be satisfied with the gain
