The info on the Apexi web site does not help much. The downloadable maunual is very general.

with my mods...i am def running rich...
i have my old AFC and want to Dyno my car...you guys think i should put my AFC in first before i dyno it....then i can tune it...??
wouldn't the stock ECU override the AFC after a wk or two?

Do you have any experience with the Apexi and the 350z?

Whats the deal with this thing? I bought one but havent gotten it yet. Some say its good for 10 +hp, others say its not even worth getting it dyno tuned because our ecu sucks. So whats the deal? How long to install?

I'm not sure I follow you Victor; the SAFC fine tunes the factory ECU limits from my limited knowledge. What did you mean by this "and proper tuning". I guess you mean the SAFC in the right hands=proper tuning?

My thoughts exactly. There's just something to be said about a finely tuned ECU. I'm anxious to get a recap and results thread from you on these mods. Keep us posted. Are you going to mount the SAFC on the steering column like the Apexi ad or are you going inconspicuous

how sick would it be to have it mounted in the sunglass holder overhead. that would be pretty extreme; i'll take mine in the nav comp. also. I'm not sure if the size of the SAFC would permit the sunglass holder. that would also be ALOT of cable.

is it a waste of money if i get the s-afc now and the ecu later? would i be able to "re-tune" it to the new specs? i was also considering getting a twin-turbo kit down the line, would these things still be compatible or should i just save my money until i get the twin-turbo kit?
