Default Uprev Osiris Flash question

Hi guys, I have an 03 with a bunch of bolt ons(see sig) and I was up visiting my cousin in the fall who is a Nissan tech to look at my abs system(no one can figure it out...)and he told me he was taking my timing advance off because of how lean the car was running. I have researched to what I consider no end, and it figures that since I have an 03 I have no stock widebands. I'm not really looking to spend money on a dyno tune, plus here in my area there are few people that will even touch a nissan( the lowest I have found is 900 and no idea what software they are using). I also cant use the e-tune package from uprev unless I fork out the money for a widebands and logger. So the question really is, will a one time reflash fix my af and still get me some power, or is it a wasted 300 bucks that should go towards a widebands and logger? Do I need a wideband for each bank or is one enough? Are there any other options? Really I am just looking to make sure the car is running safe, I do not want a blown motor this summer! Car is covered for winter at least till march so I have some time to figure this out!

thanks for any input!

Joe

Hey Joe, not too sure how far Blairsville is from Lansdale PA but we can do an Full dyno tune out the door for the special winter pricing of 525$!!!!! Let me know, we have done dozens and dozens of NA set ups just like your with great results.

Thanks, Vince

Looks like your about 5 hours away. Thats not too bad, but the car will remained covered until winter is over. I will give you a PM when its closer to the end of winter to see if we can figure something out. Thanks for the reply!

you can go to a dyno tuner(like r/t tuning that I now know about) that has uprev software and a wideband they can use on your car, but you cannot buy the standard/tuner package from uprev that allows you log your cars data then send your data to a tuner and build the 3 e-tune maps. Our 03s did not come with wideband o2 sensors, which are more sensitive and give readings throughout the entire a/f range. Im sure Vince or someone more knowledgeable can explain it better. There are few tuners in my area with a dyno and none with uprev, I think R/T is the closest to me, but at 525, it might be worth the driver for me over the standard flash. read up on uprevs site it helped me!

Like already said, if you have no factory wideband, no e-tune for you. But you can still get a regular dyno tune which is way better anyways...they don't touch timing on e-tunes and that's where the power is usually at. On the dyno they will adjust both timing and fuel.
