Default Haltech: APP vs TPS

**edit if slip is based on difference of front to rear wheel speed, these logs are useless, as of course the computer will think there is slip if the car is in the air and kill the TPS....

Hey guys, has anyone logged APP vs TPS before.

Having some issues i'm tryin to figure out..

With the car off, you can watch the APP and TPS channels and they match. 20%APP is about 20% tps.

So here's my log. The car is in the air on jack stands.

1:04 free rev. APP matches TPS about 20% (pic 1 shows the marker)
1:29 put the car in 1st and give it gas to WOT. You see that APP is 100%. TPS is not following. The slip light was coming on, which could close the TB. Will the car not spin its tires in the air? (pic2 shows the marker)

The car bucks really bad on the street. The TPS not responding could def be the problem. I just wanna see if anyone knows if APP is supposed to match up with TPS
and if you can run the car in the air and not get slip lights.

Thanks!

I don't have any Haltech logs with the car in the air, but for the most part on my driving logs, APP and TP are pretty close, with TP being higher than APP sometimes and flip flopped at other times.

With no wheelspeed coming from the front wheels, the traction control will freak out. Usually the rear brakes will oscillate back and forth and all kinds of other strange stuff happens. I saw this when trying to free my car from 2' of snow in my driveway once. TP was definitely cut.

I remember that on the dyno though, all the VDC and slip lights and stuff come on and I could dyno fine though. I'm not sure what the trigger was.

ya i will have to try to log tomorrow when its not raining.

i'm back to thinking is firmware again, if the TPS turns out ok. no other car has the same issues, so its getting close to time to swap to a different EMS.

Looks like traction control kicking in which will reduce throttle but not completely close... maybe a stupid question but you've got VDC disabled yea? You could also try removing the brake fuse which will completely kill TCS/VDC including yaw sensors and what not.
