Default New uprev misfire tables

Any clue on what the new misfire tables a b and c do? Is it just for misfire detection or does it affect timing and other things like a knock table?

^^^ I don't know why they incorporated these tables. I think it was Stillen that was doing some testing and was getting false misfire codes when testing on of their supercharger systems, but don't quote me.... Either way this is the explanation in the UPREV Nissan Tuning Guide

9. Misfire
Crank Drag A, B, and C: These tables represent the amount of drag on the crank. Increasing the values in this table will make it harder for the ECU to trip the misfire DTCs. If you set all the tables to the maximum value the ECU will never trip the misfire DTCs.

ohh, thats nice. need to get those values changed on my car. that way instead of turning off the CEL, the car just never shows misfire. I know what misfire feels like and dont need a stupid I/M not ready code when i take the car in for inspection.

Thats a great addition.

Excellent!!

At what power level do false misfire start happening? I've never once got a misfire code over the years except when one of my coil packs blew.

my startup tune and idle are pretty rich. its not false misfire, i know its missing. I just rather not have the computer setting the readiness monitors to "not ready"

What size injectors are you running and what MAF? Unless you running some really big boy injectors, you should be able to get that all trimmed in.

Pretty sure he's got 'andre the giant' injectors.
