I remember back in the day, adjusting the throttle body so it stayed open 100% thru WOT was a big selling point.

What tables are you tuning to do this? Also, I assume uprev can also mess with throttle positions during cranking, ie, let more air in?

Are there tables to do that?

 

There is a section called (Electronic Throttle) It is actually tunable per map so you can tune them per map. You can also adjust how the throttle opens while cranking by being in the real time tuning while datalogging and watching what cells are hit during cranking. Are you having some hot start issues??

 

cold start issues, but i think its because I'm still too rich during cranking. Car will fire but immediately die.

do tuners still mess with the throttle at WOT like they used to. never really read exactly what the TB was doin at WOT and if the really made a difference

 

We used to have to mess with it for hot start issues but in the last six months or so UPREV found some more cranking enrichment tables that have made a big difference. Since then I have tuned 1000cc injectors and have had really no start issues. So if ya haven't really messed with the tune for a while update your ROM editor and open up your ROM and you will see the extra tables....

 

took away more fuel this morning and it stayed running. Hopefully more tuning in that direction will fix the issue before I mess with TB settings.
