Finally Tuned
ashram, you need to b aware that the SES light is just a warning to tell you that there is a problem.
It's not a thing on it's own, it doesn't mean *anything* other than the system has detecting a parameter that's not in the normal range.
It has HUNDREDS of codes that will trigger the same light.
I get the impression that you think this is just the 'normal' light thrown by the rear o2 sensors after installing TP's, it is not, this is a more severe problem that you need to address directly.

As of right now i haven't felt any loss of power or a decrease in mpg, this particular code seems to plague a lot of z owners and seems to be a pita to resolve.Ive so far read owners having to remove there test pipes and go back to factory cats which im not gonna do or replacing the sensor only to have the ses light come back on fore that same code.
my tuner is out of town at the moment so i'm definetely gonna see if there is a way to get around this, i don't wanna go to the stealership cause there just gonna charge me 95 bucks to diagnose a code i already know.
I'm gonna have the shop i go to test fore any type of leaks on the test pipes i did go over a bump kinda hard a couple of weeks ago i may have cracked a pipe but im thinking this is highly unlikely. I read that could trigger that particular code as well.
I appreciate everyones advise.

Ok so i took the advise of my fellow members and got the bank 1 sensor replaced. the car definetely pulled better after the new sensor install , but as i feared would happen the ses light came back on. withthe same bank 1 error. At this point I don't know wnat could be triggering that same code.

The car is an 07 , the error code is (p2A00. a/f sensor circuit range/ performance bank 1 sensor 1). This is the same code the car was throwing before i replaced the sensor.
I had CEL/SES light too. It was due to stripped o2 sensors from my stock cats, so my mechanic just put dummy sensors in its place to block the hole.
I just got UpRev tune today and the tuner disabled the sensors. No more CEL/SES. Make sure you get the code deleted and sensor disabled. Simply deleting the code will cause it to throw again. Your tuner should be able to uncheck the lower o2 sensors while he is tuning.

Thanks fore assistance guys , something tells me this is gonna turn into an expensive fix, a bad ecu, bad cam sensors another tuning session lol. If the cam sensors where bad should'nt there be an ecu code fore that ?
Which sensor did you already replace? The bank 1 code is for the cam sensor(s). Not sure if this is what you replaced but they aren't too difficult.

I had my tuner show me how to remove the bank 1 sensor error code thru a reflash by using osiris. hopefully this keeps the ses light off. my car runs fine ive already had both bank 1 and bank 2 sensor replaced. ill see what happens in the next couple of days
