Re-Tuned on new Haltech
I recently got one of the new Haltechs to replace my old one, for various reasons. Very pleased with the new box, including both the smaller size, the complete removal of the stock ECU, and the new options and tunability of the new firmware.
Anyways, I had to drive across the country recently, and I stopped in Louisville at Dynosty, and spent some time on the dyno with Hal tuning my JWT TT G35.
Went from a previous 363 rwhp to a new 391 rwhp, with much smoother (and flatter) torque curve. The old dyno sheet is from 2006/7; in between now and then, I have changed the exhaust from HKS to Motordyne, changed from an underdrive pulley set to a Fluidamper damped pulley, and changed from a stock driveshaft to a lightweight aluminum driveshaft, so the dynos are not really directly comparable, but you can at least see how the torque (and HP) curves are just so much flatter, and I can definitely tell a difference in driveability, much, much smoother.
All in all, I highly recommend the new Haltech box, and also highly, highly recommend Dynosty and Hal's services as a tuner, whether on the Haltech box, or anything else.
First dyno sheet is the old one, and second dyno sheet is the new one from Hal.

There is no upgrade, the old one is just a paper weight, although I am going to try and sell mine to get some of the money back. It's still a perfectly good tuning box, just not as good as the new Haltech.
