Got a new custom UpRev tune.
I had Stillen's tuner (Sam) create a very nice UpRev tune for me. He had me make several various Cipher logs over the course of a few days. I now have 4 tuned maps. #1 is a good SC base tune for 91 octane. #2 is a performance tune that is for race fuel or whatever octane fuel that I choose; right now we have it calibrated for 95 octane.
My mechanic told me about this local company that sells 91 with 0% ethanol (91 with ethanol is what premium is in Utah) plus they sell 110 race fuel at one pump; I also bought 3 qts. of Torco octane accelerator, their charts show that 1 qt. mixed with 20 gal. of 91 makes 95 oct. so cars been in map #2 a few days and the Z pulls strong and quick. This Torco product is a race fuel concentrate, not a typical octane booster that mostly don't work; these guys sell drums of all race fuels (118+), even nitro for top fuel dragsters.
I think that if I knew a correct ratio I could go to that petroleum company that is only about 2 miles away and pump in "X" gallons of 110, then fill with 91 that has no ethanol at their pumps and make consistant 20 gal. tanks of say 95+ octane fuel. Sorry about the long post, but if any of you have experience with "blending" for track, etc. please let me know! It's nice to have a race fuel map with UpRev as an option. By the way, here in Utah all typical gas stations have like 10% ethanol/oxygenated (sucks), but now I can buy it (40 cents per gal. more) 0% ethanol at the pump anytime and even 110. *I can feel the kick at hard accel. with this first tank of 95; my mechanic took it for a spin yesterday, that was the first thing that he noticed himself.

I use torco at the track on my more aggressive (95+) tune. It has worked just as well as a few gallons of 110 at the track and cheaper. As you can see by my E/T it works
.. Give it a try...
