Smile Nissan CANbus messages?

I've sniffed a bit of the CAN bus traffic to test my CAN module and I was wondering if you guys have any info on the Nissan CAN message ids and the data format.

So
Code:
SID 2D1/7 0 0 0 3 31 86 1 0,
SID 794/3 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0,
SID 23D/8 53 0 0 0 0 47 9 33,
SID 2D1/7 0 0 0 2 31 87 1 0,
SID 216/1 40 0 0 0 0 0 0 0,
SID 2/5 29 0 0 7 A6 0 0 0,
SID 216/1 40 0 0 0 0 0 0 0,
SID 2A5/7 0 0 0 10 0 0 0 0,
SID 358/8 1 0 0 0 2 0 0 0,
SID 2A5/7 0 0 0 10 0 0 0 0,
SID 2A5/7 0 0 0 10 0 0 0 0,
SID 794/3 0 0 2 0 0 0 0 0,
SID 794/3 0 0 3 0 0 0 0 0,
SID 794/3 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0,
SID 794/3 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0,
SID 23D/8 53 0 0 0 0 47 9 33,
Does this ring a bell for anybody?
My 2011 xterra trick is not a 350 exactly but since it's also a Nissan and this is about the electronics I hope I am not totally off base.
Full logs are available here

What are you using to sniff traffic with? You might try the hybrid/electric forums. They seem to go deeper on this stuff.

http://www.wvshare.com/product/SN65HVD230-CAN-Board.htm + stm32f4discovery + a bit of my own code from my ECU project.

The info I am looking is probably Nissan-specific, so I guess it would have to be a Nissan forum

Interesting project. At one point I was trying to get one of the scantool products to connect but could never get it to actually communicate with the bus. When I was looking for info I came across nissan leaf folks that seemed to have made some progress. You can also check mp3car.com, I think.

I will try the leaf crowd, but I wonder if leaf is 'too' electrical - probably a totally different platform.

It's about $30 in parts to get this raw feed - tell me if you want me to put down some instructions.

Thanks, man. I've been looking for something like this for a while and dont know enough about the electronics to do the hardware stuff on my own. I have a few other things on my plate but would love to play with this sometime. If you can get your hands on an uprev cable maybe you could snoop the usb cable to figure out the can ids and format of messages. If you have a script for snooping and logging the data I'd be happy to run it with my cable once I get my car running again.

Love this guide, just wondering if this setup can run at 500kb/sec ? I'm looking to build a fast enough tool since I want to upload own maps one day. Do you think it will be enough?

This setup runs at 500kb/sec bus speed but I do not think it's actually transferring 500kb of data per sec. no idea if it would handle 500kb of actual data per second but as I said, doubt we have this amount of data flow.

Thanks thats what I need. I agree, there won't be 500kb flowing.

Well, few years have passed by and now I _really_ want to build a standalone for my Nissan. Is any CAN packet info available?

Since I've asked the question back in 2014 rusEFI got ETB and even a bit of GDI, it's weird that my daily does not use my standalone.

Looks like https://github.com/jackm/carhack/blob/master/nissan.md has something and a few pointers
