Are you looking for sensible ignition timing values for a start-up tune using Uprev and ARC features (true ignition timing degrees)?

What's the boost on that kit? If its' under 8psi you can keep the stock timing(per OldManZ)
Or you can just go like 15(conservative) degrees advanced throughout the map and work from there

it's 8psi correct, but from 3k to redline 15 degrees? I mean I want to know when it's not in peak 8psi what timing ppl run, like this 3k 25 degrees, 4k 20 degrees something like that fella

btw thanks for the reply

NO, I did Not say that!

IF you think that's what I said, Please Quote the Post.....

It depends on many factors

1. Fuel Octane, Gas or?

2. Total Boost?

3. Fuel System

4. InterCooler or IAT's under Full Load, 3-4 Gear Pull for 6-8 Seconds

5. ???

Lol, sorry. I could of sworn there's a post I read about factory timing(i'll do some searching). Maybe it was not 8psi, but I set my car to factory timing after I read it before I went to the track last year because of it(I'm around 5psi)

This is a direct quote though

"Very Retarded Ignition Timing! On a Vq with about 8psi Timing should be more like 15-18 degrees full advance @ full load and then increase to about 17-20 degrees full advance @ redline. Just ballpark numbers."

Here is the post
https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...l#post11052857

"If you are only 6PSI, that's Way to little ignition
timing, even if on 91 pump gas.

Lots of power left on that.

I did'nt even start pullin g timing from the stock map in till 8psi on 93 pump gas."

You liked the post, but do you recant that statement?!
I changed all my timings to ECU because of that, lol, but I only peak at 6psi at around 11.2afr

YES, You are only at 11.5* at full load, full boost in the top RPM, and even lower timing in the mid Range.
Even on my Street tune on 93, making 17psi@7100RPM, at 6600RPM (stock Redline) making 15.4 psi I'm still at 15* full advance.
Never had any knock.

The Info I was giving was from some 20 years ago, when I was only making about 10psi, and I was nearly pulling any timing at all.

The attached pic will show a table of my 93 & Race Tunes, making about 17psi @ 7100RPM.

It shows Actual Ignition and the amount the Split Second Box is Pulling. This is 10 years ago......

Even with making 17psi on my race tune I don't start pulling timing in till 7.8*

IN THE END KNOCK IS THE DETEMANING FACTOR OF ALL THIS ANYWAY!
