Timing Curve w/o Knock Sensor Plugged In ?
Hi,
I want to know if anyone has logged their ignition timing on a DE G/Z with their knock sensor unplugged at WOT over the RPM range.
I'm looking for a detailed description of how the timing fluctuates or better yet, a graph of the timing curve.
Thanks,

I wouldn't unplug it on a car that I was tuning, I wanted to get an idea of what the ECU does when there is no KS signal. (Ie bad sensor or bad connection).
Only logs I have on hand are from a friend's 02 Maxima VQ35DE, logged with e-Manage, no tuning. Below are the data points he found.
2000 RPM = 3.4 degrees
2500 RPM = 7 degrees
3000 RPM = 7 degrees
4000 RPM = 7 degrees
5000 RPM = 10 degrees
5500 RPM = 10 degrees
6000 RPM = 16 degrees
6500 RPM = 20 degrees
