Default E85, and uprev....can you switch between E85, and reg gasoline?

I just looked, and apparently there are two stations within 20 miles of me that has E85.

So since we don't travel in the city that has E85, but about once a week, can I change back over the reg gasoline if/when needed with uprev [and, of course the correct fuel lines for E85].

I've got 11:1 CR, so if possible I could increase timing for E85 fuel, then set it back when on regular gasoline [if possible.]

thanks.

I doubt it will work out for you, sure you can set 5 different tunes. No flex fuel capabilities

You can get a e85 and 91 map but you have to basically drain your gas tank to switch between the two. If you have the money can go with Haltech and a flex fuel sensor and run what ever combination you want.

I'm going to disagree with these guys. You can most certainly do it and with a built high compression engine there is definitely some power to be gained. The only concern is that you're fuel pump is E85 compatible and that you've got big enough injectors to handle the extra fuel you'll need.

You can add a few degrees of timing and 35% fuel to one of your tunes, run the tank as low as you're comfortable, fill with E85 and fire the car right up. From there you can tweak the tune as needed, you'll likely need to lean it out a bit. You don't need flexfuel and it's a hell of a lot safer to be tuning on E85 (104ish octane) than it is on 93 octane.

They are not saying that you can not run e85 period, they are just saying that the tuning would not be safe with out a flew fuel sensor. You could probably have a fuel cell to switch between the two tanks which would be safer but knock can melt a piston pretty fast so its not recommended without an ecu that can interpolate with a flex fuel sensor.

E85 is very knock resistant, most cars can tune well past MBT without running into any knock at all, it's like 104-105 octane. Not running E85 because you're worried that your car will knock makes no sense at all.

E85 is very knock resistant but 93 isn't. How is the tune going to differentiate between the actual fuel
